AI Capability Series explained

What is the Korn Ferry Academy AI Capability Series?

The AI Capability Series is a suite of four courses that develops the practical and human capabilities needed for AI-enabled work.

The courses focus on four AI responsibilities: AI User, AI Team Leader, AI Architect and AI Change Leader.

AI literacy builds foundational understanding and confidence around AI.

AI capability goes further. It develops the judgment, leadership, value creation, influence and responsible practices needed to put AI to work in different contexts.

Deep technical expertise is not required.

The courses assume a basic level of AI literacy and familiarity with common AI tools. Hands-on application is part of the learning, with the nature and depth of that application shaped by each AI responsibility.

AI creates different responsibilities across the workforce. Everyday AI use calls for different capabilities from leading an AI-enabled team, redesigning a business process or mobilising organisation-wide change.

The four courses address these distinct forms of work.

Start with the responsibility the employee holds in AI-enabled work.

  • AI User focuses on individual work and impact.
  • AI Team Leader focuses on team performance.
  • AI Architect focuses on business process innovation.
  • AI Change Leader focuses on organisational adoption and enterprise value.

An individual may carry more than one of these responsibilities depending on the work involved.

No. The Series develops capabilities that can transfer across tools and platforms.

Current AI technologies are used in practical activities, while the learning is designed to remain useful as those technologies evolve.

Yes. Organisations can select individual courses or deploy a mix across different workforce groups based on their AI responsibilities and capability priorities.

Korn Ferry Academy can work with organisations to determine the most relevant approach.

The courses connect learning to realistic decisions, workflows and workplace challenges so participants can apply the capabilities beyond the classroom.

Organisations looking to extend application further can also explore additional support with Korn Ferry Academy.
