Today’s organisations are moving beyond metrics, embracing scenario modelling to anticipate and shape the future – using data to predict workforce trends, evaluate interventions and shape strategy in real time. This advanced two-day course is designed for HR professionals looking to elevate their role from operational reporting to strategic influence. Building on foundational analytics skills, the course equips participants to model complex workforce scenarios, align talent strategy with business outcomes and leverage Generative AI to accelerate analysis, derive insights and communicate findings with impact.

Delivered by the Korn Ferry Academy and facilitated by HR expert Dr. Fermin Diez, Advanced Talent Analytics for Business Impact has been developed for HR Business Partners, COE leaders and analytics-minded HR professionals seeking to shape enterprise decision-making. Participants will apply advanced Excel techniques and Gen AI tools to quantify HR’s contribution, develop compelling business cases and craft data-driven narratives that resonate with executive stakeholders – ultimately positioning HR as a strategic partner in driving organisational performance.

Prerequisites For This Course

Participants should be proficient in using Gen AI for personal productivity and familiar with core Excel-based analytics techniques (e.g. dashboards, pivot tables, correlation, trend analysis etc). This course builds on those capabilities to deliver advanced application and strategic integration.

Assessment & Evaluation

Participants will have a 2-day window after their course to complete the evaluation and assessment. They must complete the evaluation and successfully pass the assessment to be eligible for the course certificate. The course evaluation and assessment will be conducted online.

Dr Fermin Diez

Dr. Fermin Diez is a highly experienced HR professional, with consulting, corporate, academic and board roles in over 40 countries. As a consultant he has advised multinationals, large local companies and public sector organisations at the Board and C-Suite levels in topics relating to Compensation, Human Capital Strategy and HR Analytics. As an HR leader, Fermin has been Regional Head of HR for two large MNCs in Asia Pacific and in Latin America and is the former Deputy CEO for Singapore’s National Council for Social Service. Fermin is an award-winning Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore, at Singapore Management University and at Nanyang Technological University. He has co-written three books: ‘Human Capital and Global Business Strategy’, ‘The Remuneration Handbook’ and ‘Fundamentals of HR Analytics’ and currently blogs about AI for HR and on the Future of Pay. As a recognised HR thought leader and a top HR Influencer in Asia, Fermin frequently speaks on HR topics and also serves on Boards and HR Committees for organisations in Singapore and abroad. He obtained his PhD from Singapore Management University, his MBA from the Wharton School and a degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan.

The Building High-Performing Teams course is delivered in- person making it a highly interactive session. The activities in this course ensure that participants benefit from the rich engagement of face-to-face sessions with experienced facilitators and peers.


The total course fee is $2,289 (inclusive of GST), with up to 90% funding support available for eligible participants through SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). This course is eligible for both individual and corporate sponsorship. To qualify for funding, participants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents and meet the criteria required by SSG.
