Overview

Negotiation is more than a skill, it is a leadership capability that enables you to influence outcomes, build trust, and create value in every interaction. From securing resources to forging partnerships, the way you negotiate can define your effectiveness as a leader and your ability to deliver results through others.

Mastering the Art of Negotiation is a two-day, in-person course that takes you from transactional bargaining to strategic value creation. You will learn to set clear objectives, analyse stakeholder needs, and uncover opportunities for mutual gain. With a strong emphasis on communication, the course shows you how to balance assertiveness with persuasion, adapt your style to different personalities, and maintain credibility under pressure.

During the course, through real-world negotiation scenarios, role-play exercises, and peer feedback sessions, you will practise managing conflict constructively, navigating difficult personalities, and turning potential impasses into opportunities for partnership.

By the end, you will leave with the tools to approach negotiation as a catalyst for stronger agreements, and be equipped to deliver outcomes that inspire trust, foster collaboration, and further your influence as a leader.
