At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Employ a hands-on approach to a mini design challenge to experience what design thinking is and its application to HR
- Evaluate and map out your organization’s business challenges within a broader context of emerging trends, systemic factors, emerging technologies and relevant data
- Reframe complex business challenges as opportunities for HR innovation, thereby optimizing the employee experience to create value for both employees and the organization
- Apply ethnographic techniques, such as observations and empathetic interviewing, to collect meaningful real-world data
- Turn field research into insights into problem statements that ensure your team are addressing the right issues
- Foster an environment conducive to ideation, including understanding when your team must balance visionary ideas with practical constraints
- Recognize and utilize various prototyping methods effectively, and plan a prototyping strategy tailored for critical “Moments That Matter” in the employee journey

Course Journey
Assessment & Evaluation
Participants will have a 2-day window after their course, to complete the evaluation and assessment. They must complete the evaluation and successfully pass the assessment to be eligible for their course certificate. The course evaluation and assessment will be conducted online.
To be eligible for funding, participants are required to attain a minimum 75% attendance and pass the course assessment. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more details.

Facilitator Bio
Lara Dudley
Lara is an accredited faculty of the Korn Ferry Academy. She is a versatile business professional, with experience as a management consultant, entrepreneur, and educator. In 2014, she co-founded DigitalMatter, a tech consultancy focused on the real estate and AEC industries. Under her leadership, DigitalMatter grew their workforce to 30 employees strong and set industry standards for digital best practices. Lara played a crucial role in establishing the company's HR function, including the creation of a strong employer brand that attracted top talent.
Lara's training style is to question the status quo, challenge individuals, and help them reach their full potential. She is a skilled connector, having worked with individuals and organizations across a variety of sectors, including finance, consulting, and AEC. Her experience extends from working with governments and large corporations to small start-ups and non-profit organizations.
Lara is a passionate advocate for social causes and has been involved in curriculum development for aidha, a micro-business school for domestic helpers, and Bagosphere, an L&D training program for rural youth in the Philippines. She serves on the advisory board of several social enterprises and enjoys judging business competitions at schools and universities.
