At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Articulate and refine problem statements – learn how to effectively scope a problem and define criteria for success
- Analyze complex business problems, and identify root causes using a structured problem-solving process
- Use an “empathy-first” approach to identify competing and complementary needs of all stakeholders
- Formulate solutions using analytical tools and frameworks like fishbone diagram, 5 whys, cost benefit analysis, decision matrices, and more
- Learn to use creative thinking techniques like SCAMPER and Brainwriting
- Evaluate the potential impact of different solutions, and make informed decisions when facing contradictory demands or constraints

Course Journey
Assessment & Evaluation
Participants will have a 2-day window after their course, to complete the evaluation and assessment. They must complete the evaluation and successfully pass the assessment to be eligible for their course certificate. The course evaluation and assessment will be conducted online.
To be eligible for funding, participants are required to attain a minimum 75% attendance and pass the course assessment. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more details.
