Overview

As organisations evolve, the expectations of middle managers have expanded. They no longer just deliver results but also balance operational demands with the need to develop, engage, and retain their people. ACCELERATE is Korn Ferry Academy’s six-month, part-time leadership programme designed to strengthen that balance. It equips managers with the practical leadership skills to navigate change, motivate diverse teams, and build performance cultures that last. Participants learn to coach effectively, manage across generations, and use technology, including AI, to enhance their leadership impact.

Backed by Korn Ferry’s deep expertise in leadership development, the programme is designed for Singapore’s workforce realities. Through assessment, applied learning, and individual coaching, you will build the confidence and practical tools to lead people with empathy, accountability, and purpose.

The ACCELERATE Journey

ACCELERATE develops the confidence and capability middle managers need to lead people effectively through change and performance demands. Over six months, participants build self-awareness, strengthen essential leadership skills, and apply their learning through practical modules and one-to-one coaching.

Discover: Leadership Insights and Self-Awareness

The programme starts with the Korn Ferry Leadership Solution, a proprietary psychometric assessment built on the KF4D Framework.

Participants receive a detailed feedback report highlighting their leadership traits, drivers, competencies, and experiences, revealing both strengths and development opportunities. A facilitated group debrief then helps participants interpret their results and identify specific growth goals for the programme. This foundation of self-awareness informs how they lead, motivate, and manage others throughout the journey.

Build: Core Capabilities for People Leadership

The five applied modules strengthen the practical leadership skills middle managers need to sustain team performance, manage change, and coach for engagement. Each module is designed using Korn Ferry Academy’s CECE Learning Design Framework, which blends Content, Examples, Context, and Engagement to turn leadership concepts into practical habits.

Effective teams are built on trust, clarity, and adaptability. Over two days, participants explore how leadership style influences team dynamics and performance. Using Korn Ferry’s Six Leadership Styles framework and self-assessment, you will learn to adapt their approach to strengthen engagement and results.

Apply: Coaching for Real-World Impact

Over three individual virtual coaching sessions during the six-month programme, participants receive personalised guidance from the course facilitator. Each session focuses on applying new concepts to live leadership challenges, such as managing performance issues, guiding teams through change, or strengthening engagement.

Coaching provides time for reflection, practice, and feedback, helping you to turn learning into everyday leadership actions. By the end of the programme, you will lead with confidence from coaching your team effectively to managing engagement and using technology to drive performance.

The payable programme fees reflect the amount after approved programme fee grant and subsidies are applied. All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and inclusive of 9% GST.

SkillsFuture Funding (SSG)
Eligible Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) may receive funding of up to 70% of course fees for SSG-supported courses. Funding levels, eligibility and payable fees are subject to prevailing funding policies at the point of course commencement.

Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)
SCs aged 40 and above may receive up to 90% course fee funding for SSG-supported courses (subject to meeting baseline funding conditions).

Programme Completion & Certification

To successfully complete the ACCELERATE programme, participants must meet the following requirements for each of the five course modules:

  1. Attendance: Achieve a minimum of 75% attendance and complete all assigned asynchronous pre-work.
  2. Assessment: Attain a passing score on the post-course assessment, to be completed online within two days of the course.
  3. Evaluation: Submit both module and overall programme evaluations.

Participants who meet these requirements will receive a digital Certificate of Completion from Korn Ferry Academy.
